The PGS Lift-Assist Handle (LAHK36) is engineered to make hood operation on Legacy Pacifica grills easier, safer, and more accessible. Whether for ADA compliance, senior-friendly use, or general convenience, the lift-assist system drastically reduces strain by bringing the handle closer to the user throughout the hood’s range of motion.
This device eliminates the need to lean over the hot grill surface and reduces reaching distance—an advantage for anyone with limited strength, arm injuries, or mobility challenges. As shown in the manufacturer's brochure, the lift-assist reduces the handle height from 36" (standard) to 19.5" with the hood down and provides a reachable height of 42" when the hood is raised.
